Distance sensor – compact, fast, precise: the LAR laser sensor from WayCon

When precision meets versatility, the LAR from WayCon delivers. This compact laser distance sensor is a true all-rounder, providing accurate measurements even on black, shiny, or structured surfaces. Its tiny laser spot ensures reliable results, even under strong ambient light.

Whether in tire measurement, textile processing, or insulation assembly, the LAR demonstrates what modern laser measurement technology can achieve.

With a repeatability of up to 10 micrometers and a measuring frequency of 660 hertz, the LAR combines speed and precision – ideal for use in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and quality inspection.

WayCon Positionsmesstechnik stands for reliable sensors that make industrial processes smarter, more accurate, and more efficient. Find more information and application examples at www.waycon.de

Flexible, precise, compact – LAS laser sensors

 Lasertaster für Höhenmessungen
WayCon offers the correct laser sensor for all application areas and industries with its LAS sensors

With its LAS sensor series, WayCon Positionsmesstechnik GmbH offers sensors which can meet any specific requirement: whether extremely compact or specifically for black surfaces, for long range in small design, or to be universal and of good value. Thanks to the robust and compact design, measurements are possible even in the tightest spaces. The laser sensors are ideally suited for thickness measurements, quality control and process supervision in machine construction, automation, in chemical industry or medical technology.

Amongst other features of the series are the excellent measurement characteristics: dark objects are measurable, as are objects behind a transparent sheet, and highly accurate distance measurements are feasible on various surfaces. As the series includes point lasers as well as line lasers, measurements on uneven surfaces do not present any difficulty at all.
